Dr. David Pulman
Dr. David Pulman was responsible for GlaxoSmithKline’s (GSK) Global Manufacturing & Supply organization, a position he held from 2002-2012. Over the same period he was a member of the GSK Corporate Executive Team.
David joined Glaxo in 1978 and built up a broad range of manufacturing experience. He had responsibility for chemical, biopharmaceutical, and consumer health operations as well as manufacturing strategy, logistics and global procurement. He was a member of the manufacturing and corporate merger teams that oversaw the formation of GlaxoWellcome and then GSK. His management focus was on the development of people and teams to deliver strong fundamental performance in quality, compliance, HSE, and supply within an environment of innovation and continuous improvement.
David is currently a non-Executive Director of FM Global, a major commercial property insurer; a Board member of NC New Schools, an educational not-for-profit; and a former Chair of the Corporate Council of the New York based not-for-profit, Children’s Health Fund.
David has a BSc and PhD in microbiology from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne.
